Az-Tech wants you to know that we place a high priority on protecting your privacy. 

This Privacy Policy will describe how we collect and use your personal information and the choices you have regarding how it's collected and used.  Because we know your privacy is important, we have made this policy notice readily available and visible throughout the website. 

Why Do We Collect Your Personal Information

We collect your personal information in order to process and ship orders as well as handle product support and service requests.  In addition, your personal information helps us improve our website and keep you informed of the latest product announcements, software updates, special offers and events that you might like to hear about. 

When is Your Personal Information Collected

Our web server automatically collects the Internet Protocol (IP) addresses (but not the e-mail addresses) of visitors to Az-Tech.com.  This information is aggregated to measure the number of visits, average time spent on the site, pages viewed, and other statistical information.

What Personal Information is Collected

When you interact with Az-Tech or Az-Tech.com, we may collect personal information relevant to the situation, such as your name, mailing address, billing address, phone number, email address and contact preferences; your credit card information and information about the Az-Tech products you own, such as their serial numbers and date of purchase; and information relating to a support or service issues.

As mentioned previously, Internet Protocol (IP) addresses are collected to compile website statistics and identify your shopping cart when using the web store. 

How Do We Safeguard Your Personal Information

Az-Tech takes precautions, including administrative, technical and physical measures, to safeguard your personal information against loss, theft and misuse, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. 

When your personal information is stored in an electronic format, it is encrypted whenever possible.  Access to all electronic records is secured by password or smart card access.  All backups of electronic records are encrypted and the decryption keys are managed by a written internal policy. 

When your personal information is stored on paper records, access to those records are secured by a combination of internal policies and physical locks. 

The Az-Tech web store uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption on all web pages where personal information is required.  To make purchases from the Az-Tech web store, you must use an SSL-enabled browser such as Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari or Opera.  Doing so protects the confidentiality of your personal and credit card information while it is transmitted over the Internet.

How Do You Specify How Your Personal Information Is Used

Since we have no way to identify or verify the identity of a non-registered visitor, only registered visitors may specify how their personal information is used. 

Registered visitors who wish to limit the use of or delete their personal information may simply make the request via email to Policy@Az-Tech.com.  We will make every attempt to comply with your wishes and reply via email how we handled your request. 

How Do We Handle Personal Information from Kids

We understand that maintaining the privacy of children is of extreme importance.  We will never knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 13, nor do we market to that age group.  This website is primarily aimed at those 18 years old and older. 

If a child under 13 submits personal information to Az-Tech and we learn that that personal information is the information of a child under 13, we will delete the information as soon as possible. 

Cookies and Other Technologies

As is standard practice on many corporate websites, Az-Tech.com uses "cookies" and other technologies to help us understand which parts of our website are the most popular, where our visitors are going and how much time they spend there. 

Cookies are also used to manage your shopping cart when using the web store. 

If you disable the use of cookies by your browser, you will still be able to access many parts of Az-Tech.com, but some areas, such as the web store, can not be used. 

As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files.  This information includes Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. 

We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track visitor movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.  Az-Tech will not use the information collected to market directly to that person. 

In some of our email messages we use a "click-through URL" linked to content on the Az-Tech.com website.  When customers click one of these URLs, they pass through our web server before arriving at the destination web page.  We track this click-through data to help us determine interest in particular topics and measure the effectiveness of our customer communications.  If you prefer not to be tracked simply avoid clicking text or graphic links in the email. 

We do not use pixel tags in our emails.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

Az-Tech may make changes or updates to this Privacy Policy to account for new practices, deal with new products or technologies, or simply to correct errors or omissions.  These changes or updates will be effective immediately upon posting to Az-Tech.com.  When we change the policy in a material way, a notice will be posted on our website along with the updated Privacy Policy.
